Z-RO
METH
2011
1. Real Or Fake
Tight beat and Rother Vandross is back y'all! 4/5
2. Ro and Bun ft. Bun B
2 legends together, I expected a little more...this
track just doesn't hold enough punch in the end.
Still not bad at all though. 4/5
3. Never Had Love
Sounds like a Nate Dogg song (r.i.p) so it's all gravy.
Nothing that stands though. 4/5
4. H-Town Kinda ft. Slim Thug
Ah man this slaps and just makes ya smile and bump
yo head non-stop. Classic Z-Ro shit and Thugga is
a nice addition. The hook is killer. 5/5
5. A Southern Girl ft. Yo Gotti
Another classic track rightchea. It's nice to hear
these tracks are still produced! Wouldn't expect
sumone like Gotti on this, but it's golden. 5/5
6. Pig Feet ft. Dallas Blocker
Ro keeps 'em coming with more of the same.
Dallas is new to me, but he lifts the track. 4.5/5
7. 3 Way Relationship
Nice concept (though done before) and Z-Ro pulls
it off using an altered Pac line and all. Tight. 4.5/5
8. Happy Alone
Easy to dismiss upon recognizing the beat, but really
this track is all gangsta thanks to tkotg. Word. 4.5/5
9. Murderer ft. Brittany
Nice lil track that bumps and Brittany adds that
lil something something alongside Ro. 4/5
10. Razor Blade
Feels like i've heard it before but it's all good. 4/5
11. No Reason
Ricky Z-Rozay anyone? Going all in with this one. 4.5/5
12. When We Ride
Cruisin joint that again sounds like I've heard it before. 4/5
13. One Mo Time ft. Willie D
I love Willie D. He's perfect here and elevates
the whole track. Z-Ro delivers aswell. 4.5/5
14. That Mo
That chorus...silly sick...great closure. 5/5
Crack, Cocaine, Heroin and now Meth.
Out of the 4, Meth is prolly my favourite. No filler tracks
and though there really isn't a track here like
"Blast Myself" from the Heroin album, this album is
a blast front to back. Always been a fan of Z-Ro since the
very early beginning and it's great to see him releasing
material like this still.
Overall Score: 8.8/10
